- Online : The exam mode of JEE & BITSAT is same and both the exams are conducted in Online mode of CBT mode
- Syllabus : Syllabus of BITSAT and JEE exam is almost similar because the syllabus of these exams is based on NCERT and both the exams involve the concepts of engineering or PCM subjects like Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
- Exam format : Both the examinations are MCQ based
Differences :
- Difficulty level : JEE Main is more difficult than BITSAT, or vice versa. Both of these exams are popular choices and it requires consistency , dedication and hence, the difficulty level is expected to be high.
- Questions : Students are expected to attempt 75 questions in 3 hours in JEE Main while Students are expected to attempt 150 questions in 3 hours in BITSAT exam.

BITSAT exam pattern :
Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani is a admission test to admit in campus. Here is the pattern of this exam:
- It is a Computer Based Test
- The exam will be of 3 hours duration and will consist of 4 parts.
- There is no time limit for individual parts of the test.
- There will be 130 questions in all.
- All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) i.e. each question will have four choices, only one being the correct choice
Sections and Guidelines of BITSAT :
- Physics: consists of 40 questions
- Chemistry: consists of 40 questions
- Mathematics/Biology: consists of 45 questions
- English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning: consists of 25 questions (15 for English and 10 for Logical Reasoning)
- Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (-1 mark).
- No marks are awarded for questions not attempted. The medium of the Question Paper will be English only.

Tuition Fee is approximately Rs. 1,59,000 per semester which can vary slightly between campus. Other fee includes hostel charges, mess charges, student union fees which add up to around Rs.30,000 to 40,000 per semester . Total fees is roughly around 1,90,000 to 2,00,000 per Semester .
For Higher Degree Programs :
Tuition Fee is approximately between Rs. 2,20,000 to 3,20,000 per semester. Additional charges for hostels, , mess etc which sum up to Rs. 30,000 – 40,000 per semester. So, the total fees per semester ranges between Rs. 2,50,000 to 3,60,000 per semester .
